Photographer’s Note

Back to 2007, when I shoot some photos in Buenos Aires, here showing a couple dancing the tango between the tables on the street at La Barrica, one of the bar/restaurants of "El Caminito" at the neighborhood "La Boca".

Those are bright and vibrant colours which I have always associated with Argintina...after the wonderful soccer matches! the composition here is superbly balanced and handled

that really exists? People who dance in the street like that?
I find this sulphurous couple beautiful!! It is the dance which fires the senses and your photo quite in colors seems to be ashamed with happiness!

Hi Jose,
what a nice shot, well seen and well compoesed. I like all the different colors and the two people as the main motive. I also like the inclusion of the table to achieve an excellent depth of field, what can I say? Very well done!

Hello Jose,

My wife and I dance since very long, but Argentina tango is very specially, and we can this not.
The traditional tango and a lot other dances do we every week.
Very nice picture where I with excellent sharpness and clarity.
Lovely couple maybe is the lady a little bit to large, but is a small detail.
Nice composition and good presentation. TSF.

Mas que foto linda! Tango a ser dançado à porta do restaurante, é uma publicidade original e espectacular. Só é pena é a outra publicidade na parede a qual não tem nada de Argentino. Eu tinha clonado a palavra!!!
Gosto do pormenor do chapéu em cima da mesa e do também do quadro à entrada.

Zeca,
argentissimo, tangissimo nao somente no momento capturado com o casal grudado um no outro dando um "show de paixao", mas tambem as cores dando aquele impacto visual danado. Para fazer esta postagem perfeita so faltou um link para um tango.
Argentinos parecem ser bem diferentes dos brasileiros. Imagina so no Brasil um restaurante com pessoas dacando a frente da entrada como chamariz. Nao iria funcionar. Teria que ter uma banda tocando musica e uma ou melhor ainda muitas mulheres semivestidas ...

but when I listen thatthere are spectacles with this kind of dance I am running to...
Here in GREECE love tango and there many
dancers that teach it...

You've captured the heart and soul of Buenos Eires in this colorful shot. I wish there was musical accompaniment to the photograph, so that we cold hear one of the great tangos that define Argentina. The colors, sound, aromas — are all essential components. Warm regard, José.

This is a pleasant set-up, makes me think of a scene from a 1930s gangster movie!
La Barrica seems to be a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal, while watching the Tango...
A well framed scenery, rich colours to fit the action!

Daria um excelente cartaz turístico, pois corresponde exactamente à imagem romântica que normalmente se tem de Buenos Aires. O enquadramento, cores, além, é claro da beleza própria do local seriam suficientes para que fosse uma excelente foto, mas evidentemente que a presença do par a dançar tango torna-a ainda mais especial.

A concorrencia pra criticar suas fotos anda muito alta. Escolhi esta pois as cores me chamaram muita a atencao e realmente e uma foto bem legal, que nao seria a mesma coisa nao fossem os dancarinos.
