Photographer’s Note

The Haas-Haus is a building in Vienna at the Stock-im-Eisen-Platz opposite the Stephansdom.

It's a building in postmodernistic style finished in 1990, designed by the Austrian architect Hans Hollein. Is serves as a restaurant. It is controversial because of the big contrast with the historical cathedral in front of it.

Effective shot.It shows the modern building and reflect the historical cathedral,as you say in your note,this way we can appreciate by ourself what are you telling about..I don't know what architect could think,but I see your shot and the first I think is that all the buildings have inside them a historical building..

You find nice reflections and interesting architecture here. Colors and sharpness are good, only the top of the house is overexposed, so i think cropping a tighter framing is another option...

effectivement, il y a un air de famille avec ma dernière photo.

Ce que j'aim ici, c'est la déformation des reflets due aux surfaces...
