Photographer’s Note

Cancun beaches has a lot of activities to offer and one of them is the parasail. Since Cancun is basically a strip of sand with a lots of hotels, it is wonderful from the sky to look at.

This was technically the most difficult photo I have taken. The reason is that you slip your legs through this two straps that will prevent you from plunging down to the water some 25 meters below. There is no chest harnest but there is a strap behind your back so that you can rest on it, if you hunch forward too far, bye bye.

Interesting, Thien, but I'm not sure it works 100%. The sun is just too strong and too overexposed and the composition/colors/image all suffer in return. I like the idea, though, and your bravery for taking this shot.

It works pretty well for me, there's a place for vibrant, in your face colours, and like hot air balloons, this is one of them, the sun IS very bright and does bleach out some of the colour, but all in all a shot that packs a colourful punch, and five years down the line you're still here to tell the tale!

Nice colorful composition under difficult lighting conditions...Well the sun is very bright but is not disturbing for me....As for the story...interesting too...I was thinking that your EOS could not be that happy to dive in the water from 25 meters:-)

You are much braver than I (not for myself, for my camera!) I think this photo works really well, I get the feel of the day, and especially the feel of the fabric. Very well done.

Colourful Cancun flying, Thien! Strong sun light makes me tropical feeling. I'm adding this into my "Tropical Islands" theme. I am appreciating your excellent photos!
