J'avais croisé son regard.
J'avais été touché par son sourire délicat.
J'avais montré mon appareil photo.
J'avais scruté sa réaction.
J'avais vu de la timidité, de la curiosité et aussi beaucoup de fierté.
Je l'avais prise en photo.
Je lui ai montré son image.
Elle a éclaté de rire.
Tout le village est venu voir.
J'avais mon portrait.
J'avais surtout fait une belle rencontre.

I had scanned his reaction.
I had seen timidity, curiosity and also much of pride.
I had taken a photograph.
I showed her his image.
She burst to laugh.
All the village came to see.
I had my portrait.
I had especially made a beautiful meeting.

Hi Bertrand,

this is a graceful portrait. I like her "half-smile". The fact she's looking at you create an intimist atmosphere. Great natural and soft colors and very good exposure. Well done!

Hi Bertrand,
A wonderful portrait, a beautiful girl, but still only a few comments so far, how strange. A pair of big staring eyes, big lips, she looks very beautiful. That green she is wearing is giving great colour contrast in this image. Nice extra detail are those light green earrings she is wearning...very nice.

It`s a very good exposure with amazing sharpness at her face and nice skintones.Compositi0n is good,too with the trunk at the sice and the light background.

A portrait that i would love to have in my gallery. I really like her green earings matchign her green dress. (I posted a couple of images recently (girl with the pearl earing and girl with the crystal earing) she would certainly fit in the theme. The tree gives that extra texture - only min point I would say that half a shoulder of her friend is a little disturbing.

It's nice to be back; my Mom has been ill but she is doing better now.
