Photographer’s Note

That is the inner courtyard of the Town Hall.
At the right a set of stairs lead to the large lounge where the Nobel prizes are handed and the royal banquet takes place. Actually the whole ceremony was due the same evening I shot this picture. (But I was not invited)

After a squall the sun unexpectedly appeared and I took the chance to take some pictures.
Technically the photo has many defects but I hope you’ll like the composition.

Questo è il cortile interno del municipio. Alla destra si possono vedere le scale che conducono al grande salone dove vengono consegnati i premi Nobel, e dove si tiene il banchetto reale.
La cerimonia si teneva proprio la stessa sera in cui ho preso questa foto (ma io non ero invitato).

Il sole è riapparso improvvisamente dopo un piovasco e così ne ho approfittato per scattare alcune foto. Questa ha molti difetti tecnici ma l’ho voluta ugualmente proporre perché spero che via piaccia la composizione.

Ciao Donato.
Bella immagine chiaroscurale, in controluce, certo difficile da controllare in fase di ripresa; il risultato mi sembra piu' che buono. Personalmente avrei tagliato di piu' l'inquadratura, accentuando la simmetria ed escludendo zone in ombra, dunque accentuando la presenza in percentuale delle luci. Ho fatto un WS con una mia interpretazione del tutto personale.

mi piace molto l'effetto creato da questa luce che sembra esplodere e propagarsi attraverso il porticato. Nella miniatura mi sembrava una foto notturna. Bello l'effetto sul pavimento.

Ciao Donato,
Very nice idea. The shine on the wet surface and the sea in the background give us the existing mood / feeling. I like this picture better than the one in the workshop.
