Photographer’s Note
Our ship is anchored here, after sightseeing in Villefranche, and on our way to Eze, we stopped at a view point and was rewarded with this breathtaking view of the bay and commune of Villefranche. The bay gives safe harbor to big ships because it is enclosed by land. Villefranche-sur-Mer is a small town and commune in the Alpes-Maritimes. Situated on the French Riviera, it has a population of just under 7,000. It is located about 6 km (4 miles) east of the city of Nice, separated by Mont Boron, Mont Alban and Mont Vinaigrier, and 10 km (6 miles) south west of Monaco.

Hi Andre,
Beautiful panoramic view of this bay with many boats, sails and vessels anchored there. The exuberant vegetation adds good contrasts with the city with its reddishes roofs. It's an amazing place. Well done, regards, Consuelo
