Las Fallas Festival in Valencia is a 24 hour, 5 day festival full of fireworks, marching bands, parties and just general chaos. Half your time wandering the streets is spent avoiding fire crackers and the occasional firework that gets thrown into the crowd.

Nice see how you chose black and white for this photo. I like the use of the deep, but I think the timming is not correct. I mean the players don't look at the camera and that's not good.

quite interesting, it works well here because the fg and bg is blurry, would be nice to have an eyesight from the girls playing... still in France ?

Brendan,
I like your shot which is very dynamic, but my eye seems to go straight to the guy on the trumpet and I wonder what it would have looked like if he was pin sharp and the main focus of the shot.

Nice depth through out, the two old women in the foreground are maybe the best part of the whole photo... their hands and open mouth are sounding louder than the fanfare.
