Austrian Parliament in Vienna.... Photographed and shared a million times, but still irresistable...
Without tripod, relying on ISO 1600 of my Canon.
1/30 sec, f/3,5
The grand Parliament building was designed by the Danish architect Theophil Hansen and constructed between and 1883 and 1918. The design is a mix of neo-Renaissance and classical Greek architecture, the Greek elements representing a nod to the cradle of democracy. The building was originally designed to accommodate the representatives of the various minorities within the sprawling Austro-Hungarian Empire, but was to serve in this capacity for less than 40 years.
Nowadays, it's home to the Austrian Parliament, which sits in two chambers, operating in a similar fashion to the Houses of Parliament in the United Kingdom. The Nationalrat (National Council) is responsible for developing and passing laws, whereas the Bundesrat (Federal Council) must ratify new laws. The fountain statue at the front of the building was created by Karl Kundemann and represents Pallas Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom.

Very nice blue hour shot of this imposing building,I like the
original low POV,I think that is slightly tilted and the blue
is just an idea to intense for me.Nice shot Deniz.

Deniz,
This is a great blue hour shot. You have done a great job of blending both natural and artificial lighting to produce a fine photo. The lighting and colors are great here with excellent sharpness and detail. The golden glow on the building forms nice contrast to the deep blue sky.

Hi Deniz,
This blue hour picture is perfectly executed. The colours are great also but it lacks the usual "Rigoletto touch" ;-)
Your creative imagination... :))

Hi Deniz,
there must be sth in the air...me photographing people, you architecture... :) First my compliments for excellentlly sharp and clean image of such high ISO and longer exposure. Far from easy to obtain! Secondly for colours and light balance. Simply perfect. No overexposures with superbly seen details all over the shot. Composition is rather standard, symmetrically traditional, but this is IMO the best choice of shooting traditional architecture. It was design to be impressive from this POV. All in all great effort.
Have a lovely day,
Jeri

hi Deniz,
very nice blue hour shot, the building's colors well contrasting to the sky.
composition is centered (OK, I guess you notice that by yourself), but works well here, more static.

Deniz,
a slight smile in my face ... after all teh avantguard shots in B&W this is a real slapstick. At least coming from you. Being from anyone else I would say WOW, great shot, good light management, etc, but from you ... hmmmm probably just a pffffffff, he can do it better ;-)

Hi, Deniz -
Very nice hand-held. And so little noise, too, for ISO 1600. It's a good angle and lovely light.

Hi Deniz,
I also have a nightshot of the Parliament (not a bluehour one). I hesitated uploading it or not and I decided to post it later. But now I can see that it's needless. Yours is much better. I shot from the other side of the road.
You Tripod-Handed-Deniz did a fantastic work again without a tripod at 1/30! (: Excellent exposure, excellent white balance, excellent lights and POV. My greatest respect!
TFS!

Hi Deniz,
I can't believe you've done it again, tripodless but with an impeccable result.
I don't know how I've missed this one, but I'm glad to find it a month later... I like the tones and the surprising sharpness. The centred composition doesn't bother me at all, as it is a perfectly symmetrical building, inviting to exploit this visual balance.
Nice work!
André
