Photographer’s Note
The tombs of the erectors and inhabitants of Cacassonne seem to grow in front of the city walls...
The Walled City of Carcassonne is known as a fortified medieval town. The city was included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List.

I like cemeteries and this is a very peaceful looking one. The lighting here adds a sort of calm ambience to the place. And the line of them cuts across this composition very nicely. The similarity of so many of them makes a very nice pattern that is broken up by the smaller ones. And finally the towers in the back area great echo of this line in the distance. One tower after another. And just nicely enough out of the depth of field that it does not distract but adds to the shot. And it also works very well creating that depth beyond the trees. Nicely done.
