Nouakchott (Arabic: نواكشوط or انواكشوط [alleged translation from Berber "The place of the winds"] Nawākšūṭ) is the capital and by far the largest city of Mauritania.
It is the Sahara's largest city if one excludes marginal cases like Cairo (in the Nile River Delta) and the cities north of the Atlas Mountains on Africa's northern coast. The city is the administrative and economic centre of Mauritania.

Luca! simple but full of pleasant bokeh detail to set your scene - a standard Mistral image. Green day... best, c

Hello, this one is a masterpiece about Mauritania. Obviously this young man will deliver that fish, caught by the fishermen present in the background. The compo is perfect with the right DOF for these fisherman. Beautiful Imraguen, beautiful Mauritania and beautiful Africa. You get all of that in one shot. Congratulations. Geraldine

Hi Luca,
Great POV, excellently giving DOF is shining with your frame's untouched, natural colors. Of course your models adds real life and motion. Congratulations.
Friendly Regards,

Hi Luca,
Very nice. I like how the person in the foreground with the donkey cart feels isolated, but is clearly linked to the composition. It's a bit centered, but the spot on sharpness is just nicely in-my-face. The background blur with the boat and fishermen is really nicely creamy. Nice one!!

Hello Luca,
Very nice composition.
I like the idea of the foreground, very sharp and full of details, combined with the blurred background, which calls the curiosity.
Well done!
Regards,
Marianne

That is one heck of a photo, Luca, the contrast between the two transportation, or should I say "way of living" modes is striking.
I am not a fan of thick black frames : no one is dead here, it gives a claustrophobic feel or it's like blinkers, preventing anyone to look beyond.

Hi Luca,
Luko said pretty much exactly what I was thinking- the photo is incredible, the lighting is beautiful, but I too am not a huge fan of the black frame. I prefer your old style with the white ones! Nevertheless, the image is fantastic and you've done a great job.
Sarah
