Photographer’s Note
This is the Grand Masuq Hassan. It sits on the Atlantic coast of Casablanca. Built only a decade ago, this is the third largest Masque of its kind in the world. Right behind the masque is the ocean where one often sees sea gulls fly. The roof of the masque opens up during high prayers where it gets too hot.
