Photographer’s Note
This picture is taken at the entrance of Kyomizudera temple in Kyoto when the cherry is in full bloom. The winding path to the temples is packed with shop selling everything from souvenirs to food items.

Philip PS has inspired me to try out a technique that selectively color an item in a B&W picture. Due to TOS violation rules, I posted it in the workshop instead as the main picture.

This is a great shot...Apart of the very pleasant composition, what is impressive is the sharpness of the shot...I love the expression of the lady in the foreground...Very well done!

Nice, but there's just too much going on here. So many people about that it's hard to focus on just one of them (but your workshop makes it easy to do so).
There is one thing you can do to make it a bit better: getting rid of the blown out sky and a little from the bottom. Will post a WS for you.
Anyway, this is nice, but not your best work.

I like the movement of everyone around the woman at front while she is praying. Colors and crispness are great.

I like the complexity of this shot. Fil's crop, removing the sky, is a good improvement, I think. Very nice picture.
