Photographer’s Note
Hawaii. Mona Kea, 4200 meteres high, one of the most famous places to observe the sky, because of its geographical advantage, far away from big cities. This photo was taken at sunset, one of these wonderful cloudless nights, before we slept in the car to see the sunrise. Too nice to miss it ! I hope you like it :)

seems to be a wonderful place. on your picture I miss some sharpness, don't know if it wasn't there because of low light level and no tripod , or it was lost during post-processing. I have also a feeling that this picture could benefit if the darkness on the slope of the mountained was not that black and released some details. you might have achieved this taking more shots with longer exposure and than darken the tree in postprocessing. thanks for sharing

I actually quite like the contrast between light/shadow and the nice overall softness and tones of the picture. I think it matches the moment quite well, the stillness before a new day begins :-)

This is so beautiful Florian! Very artistic composition and exposure and magnificent red tones.
