Concentration Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken almost a year from last year. Here is on my university campus. At the time I just got my 50 1.8 and had a lot of fun using it for a while. well still love it now. but the quality is not as good as the 85 one. What attracts my attention is the pillars surrounded this man. The texture of the pillars is also of my interest. I would say I love daily life shot a lot. And all the time try to imagine a spot that I could get from a regular scene.

very concentrated. Great texture! THe white is quite dominant but expresses the motive! well captured!

a timely capture of this young gentleman in his moment of "don't-disturb-me" mood. the red color of the centrally- placed bacpack gives the richness and depth. nice capture here.

Hi my friend,
interesting image of university life, with a symbolic laying that expresses the whole concentration in to understand the lesson. Following your teachings, I have done a small WS, where I have regulated a few the over exposure and the focus. Tell me if I have done correct.

Very nice portrait! The immense concentration has been portrayed well. The backpack, the computer, the hand on the hand..all reminds me of my exam days! The pillars are really great to go with this shot, lovely composition.

Hello Sothy,

A well conceived image, indeed almost a year old (Feb. 15 turns out to be Galileo's birthday). The red of the man's bag makes a very good counterpoint to the subdued colors in the rest of the photograph. It reminds me of your fabulous Starbuck's shot from last year, where there is a student in deep concentration, immersed in studies and coffee.
