Photographer’s Note

Today, I completed my first year in TrekEarth. I think during my time in TrekEarth, I made very good friends and by the critics they made, I improved my skills in photography since 1 year.

For today I wanted to upload a photo I like very much. The photo was taken in Canada, Berrie, Hawkestone.

Your picture is nicely shot. Well done using the trees and the bench which adds character and as a frame. Simple and clean shot.

Merhaba Seref,

Tebrik ederim ilk yilinizi doldurmussunuz. Burandan ihtibaren Ingilizce yaziyorum. When I first saw the image, I wondered what area of Turkey this could be. Then I read the note. Is that a frozen lake, or a wide open field? In any event, it looks very very cold, but the razor-sharp resolution of the lacework of tree limbs makes this a compelling shot. Well done, and congratulations. Like most of us, you must feel a sense of accomplishment, improving observational and compositional skills. Most certainly, I do!
