Photographer’s Note
This shot is one of the many structures at the Valley of the Temples, in Agrigento. These columns are part of the Temple of Castor and Pollux, erected in the 5th century BC, but soon destroyed by the invading Carthaginians.
Agrigento is located in the Southwestern part of Sicily.
