Photographer’s Note

The seagulls were barely moving against the gale force wind and like floating forever, they seemed much more at ease than me who had to struggle not to be carried away and trying not to move while taking a photo of their show on top of my head... Almost immobile and silent, too, not calling like they usually do, a sort of exctatic dance ; the wind, on the other hand, was whistling violently !

For those curious about military architecture, a glance through the old door of the bastion against which I was leaning.
