Photographer’s Note
A break on my trip of Laos to color Thailand with yellow on my world map ;-) A picture from Bangkok, Siam Ocean World. It'll be dificult to choose one from the streets and monuments that is not already posted in TE, so I decided for this one. I guess that it could be a common image from the many underworlds constructed throughout the world that have a tunel, but it was the first time I was in one. Although the oceanarium in Lisbon is very good and impressive, it doesn't have a tunnel. And what a magic feeling it was. I felt like a child again, discovering a new blue world where sharks rule above us, as if they were flying in the sky, but...in the water! Beautiful and impressive creatures they are, agressive appearance and yet, swimming so calm and gracefully above us. How could one not be awed by such a magnificent vision? I was, she was, and all the visitors I saw were.

Olá Ricardo,
This is a very good image because it give the impression that the person is under water. The glass is not noticeable and the details of the shark and other fish look great. Good colours and light. This is pretty. Thanks.

The cropping speaks here loudly!
As if you have taken this one inside the shark pool...
POV is great, light is superb, and you managed a very difficult photo with success.

Your title is perfect, I like the colours and the light, also the amazed expression of the spectator who will maybe witness the monster feasting on some of the cute, small fishes that we see on the bottom ?
Very different from your other photos but I like it too,

Hi Ricardo,
So you went there! I went down to the entrance last time, but i had no tripod... then i didn't go back... i ll go next time for sure! Nice compo where where the visitor(she reminds me of someone! ;D) seems to be immersed in the water too. Nice light control and a well placed school of smaller silver fish. Nice luminosity in this capture.

Hi Ricardo. First, a good decision to post this one taken from under water instead of from the streets as you rightly said. I liked the blueness without the glass and with the curious look of the boy. The whole school of fish in the bottom added extra dimension. Remembered the film 'Jaws'. Great presentation indeed. Regards.

Olá Ricardo,
a dry way to get close to a shark and also without danger. Good exposure for good sharpness and the POV includes more than the shark with the shark observer.

Very good composition. Ana is perfectly positioned in the frame to balance the shark, and her stance is perfect to show the wonder she must be feeling. The light edging her face adds to the feeling. The photographer must have a good steady hand too.

Hello Ricardo,
The ligthing and POV here are magical! The shark and his surroundings are almost celestial, and he does really seem to be flying. All of the elements are placed so well in the frame: the shark overhead, the amazed face in the center, and the lovely school of fish at the bottom. Simply beautiful...

Hi Ricardo,
You photographed this shark at the best time, just below the source of light what gives a splendid corolla of light. It is impressing the animal!!! It is true that these large aquariums makes it possible to make beautiful images like this one. This woman seems fascinated by the spectable… Interesting, thank you for your note and Internet link.

Hello Ricardo,
An absolutely inspiring shot, and the boy exudes that sentiment. You've chosen a very effective vantage point and produced a superb image. I've been inspired to submit a photo from aquarium I saw two months ago in Miami, but I am also discouraged by the quality of this image. It is clear that other viewers share in that response.
Warm regards and have a good weekend,

A fanatastic image, more laudable since it's had held. Remember my shot from the Singapore aquarium? Very well timed when the shark just about hid the light from the top. The awe on her face has been very well documented, against the lovely blue waters. A different type of image from you, but excellent in terms of visual impact. Great work my friend

Paulo
