Photographer’s Note

They were posing for me, and intended to get a Bagshish - well, the picture is nice, but I cant give a Bagshish to working people, especially in a country where the poverty rate is as high as in India.

You want to see some more Indian women ?

Very colourfull indeed. The soft background is in a good contrast withe the bright colours of the dresses.
I don't like the frame. It's to dark.

It would be interesting to see their expression after they didn't receive any money. The background compliments the colors nicely.

What a shot! The colours are simply unbelievable! So strong, clear...almost alive!

Wonderful colours and great smile.
They were just posing a little to much. I prefer natural movements. Anyway, great fun and wonderful picture.
