Photographer’s Note

We were out on a game drive in the Kalahari, when we spotted these springboks running around. They were clearly having fun, since nothing was chasing them and they stayed in the same area. They behaved so exactly like teenage boys with their first cars that we decided that's what they must be.

Technical: Minimal cropping and Levels.

They almost look like statues but I'm sure they were moving very fast. Good job of capturing all three.

Hi Dan,
Nice action shot of these adolescent springboks. They remind me of the young colts who chase each other around the pasture. I assumed at first that some cheetahs were chasing them. It is nice to hear that they were just having some fun. This type of action shot is not easy and you did a very good job of composing and "freezing" these fast moving animals! This another very underrated Trek Earth photo (and I see many, many of these).
