Shipwreck in the Caribbean Photo

Photographer’s Note

For several years one has been able to observe, not far from the beaches of Punta Cana (Republica Dominicana), this boat who made shipwreck during a storm.
Currently located, on the coral barrier, it became a curiosity which forms part of the landscape and which attracts the sailors.
But they are rather the gulls and the fish which are happy because they found a new lodging!

Je me demande ce que contenait le ventre de ce navire avant son naufrage ?
Le sujet est intéressant et cela porte à réfléchir au niveau de la pollution des côtes.
Le cadrage est très bien présenté.

Bonjour Jean-Luc,

Effectivement une nouvelle vie commence pour ce navire, habitat "naturel" si on peut dire, pour une quantité d'animaux volants et marins. De très belles couleurs qui font rêver sur la photo, la mer est alléchante mais le petit catamaran devra batailler sec pour arriver jusqu'à l'épave. Belle et agréable composition, merci Jean-Luc.

Bonjour, mon ami Jean-Luc,
Ce bateau échoué sur la barrière de corail doit devenir un sujet de promenade pour les voiliers ou bateaux à moteur. C'est vrai aussi que la flore et la faune aquatique ont dû s'emparer rapidement de ce nouveau lieu habitable !
Jolie composition avec ce catamaran aux voiles colorées s'approchant de ce bateau fantôme.

Ta photo me rappelle, qu'il y a quelques années de ça , un navire s'est échoué, le River Princess, après un tempête, dans le nord de Goa et y est resté pendant pas mal de temps. Aujourd'hui, je ne sais pas, si ce navire est toujours au même endroit ou si les autorités locales ont enfin agi...
L'épave ici me semble vraiment mal en point :) et donne un aspect curieux à la scène avec le catamaran à la voile colorée qui semble vouloir s'en approcher. Des couleurs bien rendues et une bonne netteté.

Impressionnant de voir ce navire à l'agonie dans une mer aussi belle.Un peu de gaieté tout de même avec cette voile colorée qui a plus sa place dabs ces couleurs de paradis.

Impressionnant ce bateau échoué dans ce beau décor de Punta Cana, sable blanc, étendue à perte de vue, eau changeant de couleurs selon les profondeurs.
Paradis sur terre, j'en ai garder un très bon souvenir. Belle prise, bonne netteté

Excellent composition with great colors and sharpness, the shipwreck is like an icon of this area of Punta Cana and you captured it very well with the colorful sailing boat. The turquoise color of the sea looks beautiful.
Very well captured. Next time you come to Dominican Republic let me know.
