Photographer’s Note
The granite spire on the left is Snowpatch (3084 m), and the origin of the name is easy to guess. The ridge on the right side of the Bugaboo-Snowpatch col belongs to the Bugaboo spire, which didn't fit into the frame. The Kain route up the Bugaboo spire starts along this visible ridge to the right of the col. Behind the col one can get a glimpse at the Howser Spires or The Howsers (3412 m). The picture was taken from the col leading to the Eastpost Spire (2728 m) and, to my knowledge, the tarn below doesn't have a name.
It seems that, so far, I am the only TE member who ventured in this part of British Columbia. As you can see, it was worth the effort.

A lovely composition with some lovely colours and remarkable textures. The light manageent is superb as well and so are the pov and perspective. The depth is well highlighted. Great work.

Hello Rland,
The bugaboos are definitely one of the nices ranges in North America. Their appearance and colour is something to admire and fear. Nice comoposition with an excellent inclusion of the tarn and climber's silhouette. I haven't been in this area myself but I am hoping to be there sometime soon. Cheers :-)

Surely it was worth the effort, Roland!
What magnificent prospect of mountains! The vertical frame was ideal for this shot. I would like to have been on Snowpatch to see your position! I can see a silhouette of a trekker. This is a positive element for the composition and looks like an identity for this picture. A mountaineering identity!
Accept please my congratulations and take care,
Athanasios.

Hi Roland
great shot, first the view is amazing, second the climb must have been really tough. perfect sharpness and very nice colours. I like the shadow of the climber against the lake. The sky seems quite dark considering the light on the peak.
excellent job
cheers
