Photographer’s Note
When I took this photo I realized that the ground cover and the trees on left and right created a natural frame for the Table Mountain on the other side of Iceberg Lake. This is one of many views you will see when you take the Mt Baker Chain loop trail. This is the beginning of August and the remaining snow and ice on the other side of the lake still remains. I highly recommend this hike to anyone interested in seeing sub alpine scenery on Mt Baker. More from this hike can be seen in my theme grouping on this hike.

Hello Paul,
This is a beautiful shot! I like how you have used the natural vegetation as a frame! The images are nice and sharp and the colours well saturated - I just love the tones on the water!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Paul,
l'endroit est superbe,
la luminosité bien gérée avec une tendance voulue et bénéfique vers la sous exposition, qui raffermet les couleurs et qui empêche les neiges d'être 'brulées'.
Compo bien cadrée.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Paul. Great shot of a majestic place. One can really see the effects of time on the land.I love that icy blue colour on the water and the clear blue sky.As you say, nice natural framing. Regards. Klaudio.

Good shot Paul! I did this trail a couple of years ago, but I don't remember this view (actually, when I went it must have been earlier in the year and the lake was still frozen). I like the way you used the trees on each side to make a natural frame for the view. I like those dramatic cliffs too (those I remember!). Nicely done!

Hi Paul. You know there is an Iceberg Lake in Glacier National Park in Montana as well. I don't see any icebergs! ;) I love the view through the trees as it gives the feeling we are on the hike with you. I'm assuming you used a polarizer here. Have a great week Paul!

Hi Paul,
Splendid colors and superb clarity in this fine mountain scene. I really like the view between the tall trees to the lake and mountain ridge beyond. Great shot, Paul, and TFS. Gerald

Hi Paul
Yes I like the framing too and I like the placement of the snow that drops down to the water.

Hello Paul,
that's a beautiful place for sure! The trees on each side make a clean natural frame. I like the dramatic cliffs in the back.
I think you either you pushed the colors a bit or you used shadows and highlights because somehow, the sky and the green grass in the shades look kind of weird, more grainy than the rest. Am I completely mistaken? I'm often mistaken!:D
Have a nice day!
Marc
