Part of the Victoria Waterfalls...

The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya are situated on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and are roughly 1.7 km (1 mile) wide and 128 m (420 ft) high. They are considered a remarkable spectacle because of the peculiar narrow slot-like chasm into which the water falls, so one can view the falls face-on.

David Livingstone, a Scottish explorer, visited the falls in 1855 and renamed them after Queen Victoria, though they were known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, the "smoke that thunders". The falls are part of two national parks, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe, and are one of Southern Africa's major tourist attractions. They are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Magnificant place, isn't it? I only saw them from the Zambian side but i enjoyed it very very much! Good photo, it restored a lot of memories from Africa in my mind...

One of the natural wonders of the world, that's for sure. Nice shot, showing a close up view of the power of the falls. I like that little bit of foreground on the right, which gives this some depth. Well done!

Woda, a w szczególno¶ci wodospad ma dla mnie magiczne znaczenie. Na spadaj±c± wodê mogê patrzeæ jak dziecko godzinami.
Podobaj± mi siê na pierwszym planie zesch³e trawy, a w szczególno¶ci ich koloryt.
Ciekawy uzyska³e¶ równie¿ koloryt nieba. Od koloru b³êkitnego, zielono-b³êkitnego, a koñcz±c na wszelkich odcieniach ró¿u.
Na kontynencie afrykañskim, zawsze spalonym s³oñcem, taka ilo¶æ wody zawsze robi wra¿enie.

Ale¿ extra wodospad. Bardzo mi siê podoba. Piêknie tam musi byæ? I pewnie szum jest niez³y od tej wody. £adne kolory i dobre ¶wiat³o.

Czesc,
takie widoki oglada sie z przyjemnoscia. Slusznie, ze wracasz do Wiktorii, bo temat wart wielokrotnego pokazania. Fajny kontrast bieli wody i czarnych skal. Podoba mi sie.
