The Passion Facade Photo

Photographer’s Note

One more picture of Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, Sagrada Familia.
This façade is oriented to the west. Sharp geometrical shapes and bare and austere ornamentation are used to represent the passion and death of Jesus Christ. It is located at Sardenya Street.
It is composed by a six-column portal that has three entrance doors located between four bell-towers in line.

it is really a pity i did not make it there at night - the light and colors are fantastic.

Bardzo trudno dobrze sfotografowac Sagrade Familie.. Gdy ja zobaczylam wycofalam sie od razu.. inna rzezcz, ze byl dzien.. pelno ludzi, zielone siatki ochronne, dojmujaca szarosc fasady.. nic z tego, pomyslalam.. A tu, u Ciebie pieknie, w takich dwoch, efektownych walorach kolorystycznych.. nagle, niespodziewanie, robi sie cieplo i ludzko.. B.fajnie!

It is intersting to see the other side of this famous cathedral, specially in this nightlight. A little bit surrealistic, therefore impressive picture!
