Photographer’s Note
2.30 am, wake up, every body dress up quickly. We go in the front of the hôtel to take the bus. We have the seat 1C, 1D and 2A. The driver say that we must seat at our place. We think that the bus will be full. After 5 minutes we stop behind another hotel. A couple of japanese arrive. The bus begin to be full. The driver say again that we have to seat at our place. The bus start again and take the route of the 5th station...
Nobody will arrive now, we are 5 inside a bus of 60, we take other seat witout saying it to the driver. He have enough work to drive this big bus on this road, call Subaru line. He drive us from Kawagushi-ko (800 m) tothe 5th station (2300 m), equivalent to a great swiss pass.
Start from the 5th station.
We are all excited, we are looking for the way we have to take. Japanese with VTT are going in one way. We are following them because we haven't see other way. It is about 3h55 whe we arrive in front of this instruction panel. The real start of this climbing route t the Fuji-Yama, which reach the 3776 m (12'390 ft), about 1500 m on the top of us. This is the start of the adventure...

It's amazing how such a simple shot turned out to be a wonderful capture. Thatnks to the overall black and dark colors, thanks to the graphics and the Japaneese letters, and thanks to your very good note. Well done, Jacques.

Well, it's a good photo, Jacques, and a good note. But above all it's a great moment, which you're able to share with us in a way as if we're there with you. Well done!

Not much to say of the shot Jacques, but together with the note very much Te spirit, and the expectation for the continuation is raising.

Nice shot ! Sorry to talk about something else than the story itself, but to photograph the old wood, not clean at old but so used, under this angle is a good idea. Because Japan is all like that... It is lucky you had colors in your photo as well.
