Photographer’s Note
16:14 in Copenhagen
This is a new picture from the heart of Copenhagen, taken in August. I found this gangway in Vognmagergade not for from Rundetårn, Nørreport Station and Kongens Nytorv with in the background the colourful houses in the street called Åbenrå. My attention was attracted by the combination of the rather modern gangway, the big clock and the traditional architecture in the background.
The little tower in the background is I think part of Den Tysk Reformerte Kirke (The German Reformed Church).
Egmont is the name of a large media industry group in Scandinavia. Actually one of the leading media groups in the region, producing books, magazines, tv-programmes and much more.
Not much more to say about this photo, I hope you like it! :-)

bonsoir Lars

The positioning of the clock on this frame corssing the street makes an unusual positionning, and leaves plenty of view on he nice buildings behind. The overall is very original.
All the best,

A nice graphical shot, well framed with good rich colours. Light management couldn't have been easy, but you've succeeded in bringing out much detail in the buildings. Nice work.
Best wishes

Bonjour, mon ami Lars,

Goed werk opnieuw. Bedankt!
Groeten uit Vlaanderen,
John.

hej Lars
it's not about the photo, i'm not a fan of that kind of mix between modern and old style, sometimes it works and sometimes not
about the photo, this modern part takes too much space in the frame IMHO, i don't know what could i say about the POV, no idea or suggestion, i just tell what i think about the result

Very tricky I would guess both to compose the image and to expose it correctly because of the sky behind your focal point. I think you have achieved both well and produced a very unusual image.
Well done

Dag Lars!
Hey such a great and interesting perspective you have created from this lovely danish spot, I really love that country. I like a lot the composition you hace chosen, using this first element, the watch to anticipate what comes after, the colourful copenhagen facades.
Congratulations for this awesome result Lars!
Cheers, take care, and have a great day!

Bonsoir Lars
Cordialement.

Hello Lars,
A fascinating corner of Copenhagen. It has been years I walked around the streets of this wonderful city. Is this gangway actually a walkway connecting the two buildings? If so, it would have been fun to catch someone walking across and offering a scale for that clock. Good perspective and colors.
Regards, Lars,
Bulent

regards.

Hi Lars,
A unique and well composed shot, with the clock and surrounding grill really enhancing and making for an artistic presentation. I like the clarity of detail here despite the subdued light. The graphism really enhances the shot nicely. Cheers...later.

Olá Lars, this is quite a creative composition, dividing the image in two equal parts, making a strong contrast bettween FG & BG, and giving a nice sense of depth. The resulted graphism is attractive and I like the colors on the façades. The clock has a big impact and it's natural that it gave you the idea for the title ;-)
Have a nice weekend,
ricardo
