We were looking for an Ancient Tower (4-5 Century AD) on the mountain Skopska Crna Gora, just close to Skopje, on some 20km from the center.

This Tower is famous between the local people by it's defense position during the Ottoman attacks on Kosovo. Just behind this mountain is Kosovo and some part of the Ottoman Akser (Army) was passing by these villages and were killing, raping and destroying the houses of the local people. That's why the local people revitalized this Ancient Tower to help them in the defense against the much stronger and outnumbered Ottoman Army. But, this didn't helped them a lot, because soon it was conquered by the Turks and they continued their way to Vienna.
