Photographer’s Note
Shinkansen like one of the fastest trains on Earth become a daily standard for many Japanese people. Just at this Kyoto Central Station platform, where Shinkansens go to Tokyo and Nagoya a train leaves every 5 minutes. It stops with a high accuracy, so people cue, to wait for the doors, that will open just in front of them, already minutes before the train actually stops. This officer had quite a hard task to serve the platform and expedite every train, no one single minute for relief, all work done with high professionalism.
