Staring on the beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

Ralaxing walk along the beach of Nosy Sakatia (west of Nosy Be - north Madagascar) in search of warm sun, silences and meeting with friendly local people.

She was shy and curious when approached me allowing me the time to take a couple of shots.
I loved the colourful background even if it's not placed on the right side of her (anyway I didn't want to move not to miss her natural sight).

Portrait superbe où la prof de champ est utilisée parfaitement, un visage très expressif, et un "grain" de peau digne d'une photo de studio, malgré la réduction obligatoire pour le post sur TE.
Félicitations pour ce cliché chargé d'émotion et de poésie.

Bellissimo ritratto, con luce morbida e senza ombre nette. Poi lo sfondo, coi colori sfuocati, fa risaltare ancora di piu; il soggetto.
Poi il 70-200 fa il suo lavoro !

Hi Luca,

A very nice portrait..she is looking directly into the camera as if posing yet is self conscious and hence sticking her tongue out.The shallow DOF works well as the background becomes one pretty blur.

Hi, Luca. I like the innocence of childhood that your picture shows so weel through the eyes of this little girl. Her crossed arms and the way she plays with her tongue also show her shyness. A very good focus with a nice coloured bokeh.

Nice shot and I surely agree with the wonderful background!! Have to say that I would have used a bit of unsharp masking to darken the girl a little bit, but the light overhead is interesting as well! Nice one.

Adoro i ritratti ai bambini perchè con i loro sguardi esprimono sempre delle emozioni forti e pure, che arrivano dirette al cuore ed emozionano.
Questa bimbetta è bellissima, e simpatica con la sua smorfia. Belli i colori sfumati sul fondo.
