Photographer’s Note
Iceland is a place of great contrasts. The boiling mud is due to geotermal activity. The steam is visible over the bright green moss. Oddly, it is to be found next to a huge glacier.
I tried to get a low angle focussing on the foreground letting the glacier and the figures serve as background. Tried to control the DOF so that the main features are visible though.

Very striking and sophisticated photo with all the colors and elements. I think you've balanced it quite nicely, with the dark and light at the top and bottom and more neutral shades in the center, which also give it a bit of color. The bright red jacket also draws your eye right to the center. Very well done!

Hi Mikkel,
Considering this is as alpine environment, it is amazing to see so much colors... just beautiful. The background must be a big chuck of glacier?... hope it is not melting fast because of global warming. Wonderfully captured and well composed. Excellent work! tfs.
Cheers,
Renier
