Photographer’s Note
New Photo series called Hanabi.
Hanabi is Japanese word for firework being performed in summer.
I was walking around Tokyo from last 3 weeks taking photos not of Firwork but people gather on the location before firework.
Uploading few of those photos.
This hanabi is of Futako-tamagawa near Shibuya.

Fascinating shot, Shail, as I was saying earlier... and one of the reasons for its special quality is how subdued the colors are here, sort of Polaroid-like or like an old slide, a slightly faded Kodachrome, all of which gives it a nostalgic, early 70's in Japan feel - and as you know this is a very old fashioned place, vey low tech at the everyday life level.
The composition is really fine with that fellow standing across the whole frame from top to bottom on the left, extending his hand to his girl which created and sustains tension in the frame.
Best,
Francis

As Francis has said, a very 70s feeling image, the first thing that entered my mind was 'Woodstock'. The position is good with the girl joining us on the ground, and the slight amount of blur is agood little touch.

Remember what I said to you once about getting a point of interest and that sometimes you trade easy to read/topical images for too much complexity.
I just don't understand what is going on, who's the RedBull drinker, who are these people? ...I dont understand the timing either, the connection between the people is too weak IMO even though I can spot that helping hand, I think you were half a sec too fast for clicking.
It's a non-event.
