Photographer’s Note
The Centrale Montemartini was the first electric powerplant of Rome, built at the beginning of the XXth century.
Today, it became an important museum where old industrial machinery and antic sculptures, transferred from the Capitol museum after some renovation works, live together. Temporary exhibits are also organized.

Eric,
Interesting shot; contrasts, yes, but also enigmatic and symbolic - with this decapitated body and a huge blue turbine wheel looming in the background.
Thought provoking - in a philosophic way!

Very interesting, Eric... that gorgeous cobalt blue machinery and the beautiful antique sculpture together... love this juxtaposition, also brings up personal stuff somehow ;-)
This is the way the world is going, I guess.
Could be a touch sharper, but it is still a nice and curious shot with lovely hues.
Missed you!

Ciao Eric,
An interesting view: sacred and profane!
Well composed.
See you soon...
