Photographer’s Note
Landskrona Citadellet
If you have seen my panorama of Helsingør, you know that we also went to Sweden, when we visited Denmark earlier this month.
First we took the ferry between Helsingør and Helsingborg and then we drove along the coast to Malmö and took Øresundsbron (Oresund Bridge) back to DK.
In between Helsingborg and Malmö, the city of Landskrona is located, where we never had been before. This photo shows you Landskrona Slott, Citadellet (Landskrona Castle, The Citadel).
Landskrona Slott, Citadellet is a former Danish castle, built by the Danish King Christian III between 1549 and 1559, when the Southern part of the present Sweden (Skåne, Halland and Blekinge) was still Danish. It became Swedish in 1658 after the Treaty of Roskilde.
The name Landskrona means "The Country's Crown".
The city of Landskrona has about 28,000 inhabitants, the municipality about 40,000, making it the fifth biggest city in Skåne. Also the island of Ven in the Öresund is part of the municipality. Landskrona is also the harbour for the ferries to Ven.
The city was founded in 1413 by King Erik VII of Pomerania.
This view is a stitch of two pictures, made with Autostitch. I couldn't get the castle in only one. :-)
Hope you like it!

Bonjour Lars

Very different castle architecture to what we are used to seeing. It almost looks industrial. I like the POV you chose which works very well with the curve of the moat(?)arranged to be symmetrical in the frame. Very good quality with an excellent stitch.

Hi Lars,
The stitch has worked perfectly. Good PoV on a corner of the moat. This makes possible to see to sides of the castle in a kind of "V" composition. This time your mark (reflections) are only slightly marked. But the light in the sun and over the castle is excellent.
There is only two things that catches my attention too much: the shadow of the sign and the duck on the left that looks like a spot. I would crop out these two things.

Hello Lars,
You pick a good point of view for this massive piece of architecture!
This frame gives a good impression of the whole castle complex, and adding some of the setting is good...
Good light, fine colours and details; a well composed presentation!

This is a very attractive military architecture in a good picture, well done for having in stitching the whole view.
I think this is one of your best in architecture due to your care and to the castle itself.. Quite a very surprising one. Make me thing of Roman camps.

Nice to see a new picture of you. The point of view is excellent, with the round moat full of water, and the casltle has a beautifull pink color, perfectly matching with the light green of the grass and the blue of the sky. Thanks for sharing,

Regards.

Olá Lars, spectacular panoramic image. It's full of gracious curved lines. The contrast of colors, specially the sky with that soft red in the buildings is wonderful. The architecture is most interesting in its shapes. A very pleasing image with great quality.

Hallo Lars,

Hej Lars,
I fine picture of this "castell" in Landskrona. I passed Landskrona yesterday and I took some shots as well. I might upload them one day.
Your stiching has worked out well and the colours of the castell invites to make good composition together with the clear blue sky.
