Photographer’s Note

Hard to believe that I was walking on the sea bed, we have no tide in Turkey, and I am not used to see boats on the ground either. But Scotland is another matter.
Next morning when I came again the boats were floating all right.

Merhaba Izzet. Unusual to see such extremes in tides. Still, it had given you the chance to photograph boats on dry terrain and to emphasize their bright colours.Lovely link between the white of the boats and the white cottage.Beautifully balanced shot. Clear and crisp as usual. Selamlar. Klaudio.

Great image! The boats laying up on the ground is quite striking, and always makes you stop and think when you see it. The bright colour of the boats and the house really make them stand out incredibly well against the terrain. Beautiful!

C'est beau l'écosse, la photo est pleine de couleur, et ce qui attire le plus c'est la qualité du premier batau en bois...
Belle lumière qui accompagne ce paysage plein de charme.

i am constantly amazed with the effects accomplished when the polarizer filters are used...the way the colours are "pushed" is just great...
interesting that neither in the polish seashore any tide could be found and i was also impressed with the tide effect few weeks ago in morocco - ocean "shortened" by some 50 meters for few hours...
i like the way you portrayed the effect on this image using the boats...

Hello Izzet! You have displayed a wonder palette of warm saturates colors for us to appreciate. The composition is well-balanced but anchored firmly by the grounded boats. The whites of the background structures seem just a tad too bright on my monitor but it does not distract.

Merhaba Izzet.

In the Mediterranean we haven't tides. Then must be very strange see its effects.
Not only a curious note, also a very nice picture where the composition and the colours are great.
The white house, the colourful ground, the red and blue of the boats and finally that impressive sky.
