Photographer’s Note
to continue theme of my yesterday's post - still a very tight community, this time in the famous Monte-Carlo district of Monaco. I like that in this shot you can see not only the densly built houses, but also the crowded Port de Monaco.
one thing I'm not sure about is the pool in the lower left corner - unfortunately, there's only half of it, but at the same time it gives a nice splash of colour. happy to learn what you think.

I really like the pov here. You can really see how crowded the space is. My question to you is, where in heck do they park their cars?

yup, kristine, the POV is great. and i like the color accent kindly provided by the pool in the lower left corner of your composition. i realize, the pool is cut in half, but it does not bother me at all: i find the color of the water and the flags near the pool to be refreshing and pleasing. well done!

kristaps

Hola Kristine,
Magnífico punto de vista de esta abigarrada ciudad y su muy concurrido puerto.

I've never been to Monaco so didn't realise how tightly packed everything was. There's obviously a lot of prestige gained to live there or the rich and famous wouldn't bother to go. Your high POV was good for getting so much into your frame. The swimming pool doesn't bother me. It was there so why not include it as cropping it out would exclude so much of what you want to show.
Well done

Hi Kristine. This image somehow makes me think about the F1; isn't that the pool we see when the cars pass by? Anyway, this image shows very nice what Monaco is about: luxury, luxury and luxury. Good pov which gives us a wide and detailed view of this city-state.

Hi Kristine,
Nice composition, I really like how you have chosen a telephoto lens to emphesize the crowded, urban environment here. Lots of interesting shapes and details.
Well done, Mike

Kristine,
You captured a lot of information with a 50 MM focal length. It would be nice to see with a focal length of less than 20 MM.

The detail in your shots is awesome, you really do fine work Kristine. This is a much newer Monaco than the one I saw years ago but it just as beautiful here in your image. Great capture.
