This is very adventurous. I like the grain, and the B&W, and the guy looking out the frame gives it an edge, and is quite original. I find the womans blouse merging with the guy's shirt a bit of a shame, but well, generally great shot.

La photo est vraiment bien faite , ce cadrage particulier on sent l'ambiance sur cette image , une bonne composition , bien vu .

Très bonne composition. J'aime bien le grain et le "virage" légèrement chaud. Le regard contre le bord et sortant du cadre est inhabituel et ça , j'aime aussi! L'ambiance est très bien rendue, très bon post Nicolas.

Very well captured Italian atmosphere. Great mix of persons in different poses. Your choice of sepia tones and grain works very-very well.
Interesting framing – still, I would crop the thumb out at the bottom.

J'aime bien le rendu de cette image, le grain du film est très sympa et se prête bien à ce genre de cliché, belle scène de rue également

La texture de l'image est inhabituelle mais donne un excellent rendu à cette scène. La partie supérieure de l'image me semble fort "vide" avec ce mur avec peu de détail, mais par contre le regard du personnage au premier plan est superbement capturé. Félicitations Nicolas !

Une allure de film de Bertollucci. Composition originale par la position de l'homme en premier plan. La profondeur de champ est parfaitement gérée. Une superbe image avec de très belles tonalités.

i like being up close in this man's face. and i like the tones and grainyness. i don't like the white frame though. too white, and nothing is that white in the picture. i think a wide black frame would be better. well done though.

Une bien belle image j'ai d'abord cru voir Picasso.
J'aime particulièrement le grain de l'image. Des souvenir des Ilfords N&B poussés à mille asa. Le côté sépia contribue bien à donner une chaude ambiance à la photo. Merci /jr

Très belle image d'ambiance. J'aime beaucoup le traitement NB et la texture granuleuse qui fait penser à un extrait de journal et qui ce prête totalement à cette ambiance. L'arrière plan légèrement "out of focus" est superbe et ce cadrage original lui fait la part belle.
Tres efficace: un cliché exceptionnel, en tout cas à mon goût !

jolie prise pour une photo qui peut traverser le temps, elle est intemporelle ,ce sentiment est renforcer par l'utilisation du noir et blanc. bien vue Nicolas.

hi Nicholas..first a very nice picture..very beautiful, lively..old men and high old walls and fruits..as old as life :)..I feel for a little (very)more contrast but it may be because of my screen too..or just different eyes looking at it..
this is very Meditterranean..I could think it was west Turkey too..thanks..

So very italian, Nicolas....:-) Perfect shot. Grain and sepia are exellent. So many interesting details ( the man on the foreground aside - his face is the whole story), i am watching and enjoying the atmosphere..!

Hi Nicolas,
a nice portrait and daily life capture. Good expressure of the old man. The situation on the market with all these old guys in the background is remarkeble.
