And you caught him looking both friendly and shy, the motion blur on his hand and the chain adds interest adn makes the centercompo work. The colours are really good aswell as the DOF - I think I just used all the TE clichés, hope you don't mind, I mean it :o)

j'aime beaucoup son regard un peu perdu et ce mouvement de bras au dessus de son visage. c'est bien, car ca donne un peu "peps" au portrait. bravo chef !

Un protrait différent, avec ce regard plutôt indéfinissable et ce bras au dessus de la tête. J'aime bien l'effet de mouvement et le cadrage serré, ça renforce son expression un peu perdue. Excellent post Eric !

Nice shot Eric. I like how his arm forms a frame for his face. Perhaps shooting a little lower and a little more to the right so the arm goes right against the edge of the photo would work? I think you have done well in capturing both the shyness of the boy as well as his interest in you.
