Photographer’s Note
Mount Temple by Lake Louise is for its height (3543 m) unusually easy to climb and therefore a very popular target. "Unusually easy" still means an elevation gain of 1600 m and a tiny bit of hands-on rock climbing. This view from Saddleback Pass is slightly different than the classical view from Lake Louise Village or the Trans Canada Highway. The flowers in the foreground must be anemone, but I don’t know precisely what species.
As usual, this picture was taken during a hike and doesn't benefit from the ideal warm light of the sunrise.

No need for warm light Roland. The day was beautiful as I can see and you managed this image very well. I don't know the name of the flowers either but they give the picture a very nice atmosphere. Plus they give an idea of the type of terrain you were hiking in. Thanks Roland.

Hi Roland,
Long time no see! How are you? Anyway, great shot of this beautiful field of wildflowers with Mount Temple rising over the scene. Great lighting with amazing colours and details! Great work, Roland!

Nice picture Roland, you achieved an excellent field depth which makes the flowers and the mountain right in focus! Congratulations

Hey!
Look who's back in action! I like how the white flowers in the forground seem to mimic the patches of snow. Although I feel slightly 'cheated' not being able to see ALL that stunning mountain in the background Roly.
Good to see you back Roly, hope you stick around for a bit...
