Photographer’s Note
ruins of the sulphur factory destroyed by the volcano exhalation. White Island is still a top of an active volcano (some exhalation visible in the background). the factory was active for some 50 years early last century. working there was dangerous because of sulpfur exhalation in the air (when I was there I was given a protective mask just in case the wind changes the direction). the volcano did not erupt in a sense commonly presented in media. its increase activity cover the island with more dust, sometimes stones. because of this the owners decided to close the factory some 50 years ago and it was left for gradual degradation.

The corrosive effects of sulphuric acid... Very intersting pict both for the geological curiosity andfor esthetical reasons (the textures of corroded concrete and metal are great !). The composition is interesting and the pict is sharp and clear. Nice first contribution !
...And welcome to TE
