Photographer’s Note

A reporter's work.... ... is to report what the situation is. Whether it is a war, a disaster or a sit-down strike like here in Warsaw.
We put trust in what they do, as mostly, it is the only way to get to know what the situation really is about.
They should be objective, not to judge the situation, but to report... They sometimes add some of their own feelings, as they are just humans like us... the watchers, the readers and the listeners...
It is a hard job to be objective, usually under big pressure...
A photographers work is a bit different. Although we don't speak that much... the idea of taking THE picture is to capture a scene that will be talked about by those who get to see it.
Now, this strike in Warsaw takes place on the Ujazdowskie Avenue, just by the Prime Minister's office. Every 30 minutes or so the nurses stand up and raise noise to bring PM's attention. They want to have their salaries raised as what they receive today is equal to humiliation...
