Photographer’s Note
I was heading to Erg Chebbi desert when we stopped in a gas station near Erfoud. I just looked around me and saw this young girl riding on her donkey. This image was so sweet and natural...and also evocative of the old good times when my country (and particuarly the area I am living in) was a rural one.
Well, I could not resist...and I shot this picture.
Hope you will enjoy

Yes, I know the oasises around Erfoud, i worked there 2 weeks. There are plenty of ksour, where are living people like the one in your photo. Sometimes friendly, sometimes reluctant of posing in front of camera, but always colourful and happy in their own way.

Asparuh

Haha you weren't joking when you said you had captured something similar...you even gave it the same title! Nice everyday life shot from Morocco. The background makes it seem even more exotic. I like it!
