In monastry live monks and they have those young boys to do simple chores - cooking, cleaning and washing. Some of them will become students in future.

The composition is very nice and i like the light from the flames and also coming through the window. Also the colour and texture of the walls and floor. Altogether they add up to a striking image.

I love it Antoni! The frame is divided into areas of cool and warm colour and they fuse into each other beautifully. The figure of the boy is presented wonderfully, intent on his cooking pot. Even the shaft of cool light coming through the window add to the atmosphere. Regards Kevin

No ciesze sie ze juz Etiopia.
Fajne zdjecie az nie w Twoim stylu i te podwojne swiatlo przedziela jakby kadr ukosnie. Podoba mi sie.

Ja nadal w kraju walcze ze zdrowiem bo kazde jezdzenie ma przeciez swoja cene. Ufam jednak ze niedlugo bede w drodze, choc kto wie jakiej....

A place where I still dream off, I like the contrasting blue light falling through the window and the scene of the boy sitting packed together in an easy way by his cooking with contrasting warm colors, well done Anton.

Jest w Twojej kolekcji sporo zdjec z Afryki "innych" od typowych zdjec na TE z tego kontynentu...tak jakbys ty widzial inaczej tamtejsze swiatlo ;).
Lampe bym wyklonowala...
Ale zdjecie piekne.
Pozdrawiam raz jescze, cieszac sie, ze odkrylam Twoja galerie...

Your a great "light" photographer Antoni. ...or I should say available light. I like that alot. This one is another excellent post from your Ethiopia shots. A normal, everyday, daily shot, that is blown out of normalcy with theat streak of light coming through the window. Composition is excellent and the darker color tones really go with the mood here, if not actually making it.
