Photographer’s Note
Le territoire de la commune fut habité dès l'antiquité par des Sicanes. Durant la période byzantine, naquit le (bourg d'Ypsigro (endroit frais) qui devint le fief des comtes de Geraci à l'époque des Normands.
En 1316, Francesco I de Ventimiglia construisit le château sur la colline San Pietro, et vint s'y installer. Le bourg se constitua autour du château et en tira son nom.

Nice image, well done.
I like the intense blue of the sky, there's a lovely contrast with the other dominant colour, the brown of the building.
Good lower perspection and light also.

sympa ce château avec toutes ces pierres de cette couleur, bon POV, belles couleurs, très bel endroit, la personne à gauche donne un repère pour se rendre compte des dimensions...
