Photographer’s Note
After an interlude, I'm back to the place that, so far, has most fascinated me this year. The 200 year old fortress at Daugavplis. More like a mini walled town than a fortress, and almost deserted, despite being lived in in parts, and with other functions for some of the other buildings. In one place there is a large formal park, that still seems to be maintained, complete with gazebo, but apparantly hardly used, though maybe now that it's more springlike.

I like how you have framed this one, Richard.
The strong dark colours of the trees contrast nicely with the brighter background colours.
Someone walking on the path might have made a nice addition to the composition.

Hi Richard,
The good sharpness at trees are looking good. I think it will look more beautiful when the trees will become green.
