Photographer’s Note
Vancouver used to look like this, before it developed into the modern city of glass it is now. Here, in the North Shore mountains, or in Stanley Park, you can see how it used to be.
This is a rainforest, yet Vancouverites complain about the rain. The rain gives us our water, cools the city in the summer, keeps the plants lush and green, and the clouds hold in heat in the winter.

Well composed with good detail. It may fall a bit short on having a clear subject as my eye wanders around not knowing where to settle. The water fall doesn't quite draw it in. Lovely greenery. I've been to places quite similar in the Walbran and Carmanah areas.

Andrew this is an excellent perspective on the wet climate in our area. It really is a great time to capture the lush greenery that the rain brings. I love the perspective allowing a small view of the water passing though the forest. A fine photo Andrew. I would suggest blowing this up to a huge print and watch all the wonderful details surface. Good work and thanks for sharing!
