Special eggs for a special moment:Easter!
in my region (Bucovina)this activity is carried by some skilled womens and almost in every village there is a special style and special colors for their design. Usually the eggs are painted, but since few years, appeared new models decorated with colored wax (those in the photo).

Hi Elena,

these are pieces of real artwork! We do also have various techniques to decorate easter eggs - some people are more gifted to do that, and some less ...

The brown monochrome background fits very well. It´s a pity you cropped the egg in the bottom left corner.
Nevertheless, good shot.

Hi Elena,
Painted eggs!! I have seen them for the first time..and If my knowledge is true, the eggs are offered as gifts. Is this true? And it is so, why is this custom pervailing? Can you shed some light?
Regarding the shot, I must say it needs a frame.
