The roof will close for sure, and what a beautiful roof it will be. You have managed to show the size of those beeches very successfully. Looking up could make some think and it should, "for several reasons..."
Those beech forests are amazing.

I love how the light is catching on the tree branches, which make wonderful patterns on the beautiful blue sky. It might be a fun idea to return each season a do comparison photos.

Hello Frank,
Yesterday I underlied with trees that to perform such seizure, but not it is known why - I gave up. I had a wide-angle lens (20mm) and I had no reference to other focal length. So is sometimes, well, with You did not give up. The nice perspective, the superb example formed by naked still crowns of trees. I hit it off with You Friend, sometimes we should look upward...

I was looking here at your beautiful lace against the blue sky .. and it occurred to me that I have seen many images of looking up into the branches .. but I don't know that I have seen any with this clear soft blue sky and leafless trees .. wonderful peace ...

Bonsoir Frank,
Une prise de vue très originale même si elle ne le parait pas. Le tronc d'arbre nous guide en plein centre de l'image et sa cime est agréablement et régulièrement entourée de branches.
Je vois que le beau temps persiste alors qu'ici c'est toujours la grisaille.

Hallo Frank! Ganz recht, man sollte hie und da noch oben kucken, und siehe da, ein praechtiges Angebot fuer Fotographen oeffnet sich, ganz andere Perspektiven naemlich als man es sonst kennt. Noch ganz leer sehen sie aus, diese Baeume, und ich nehme doch schwer an, dass sie heute ein ganz anderes Bild abgeben wuerden.
