Photographer’s Note
Chestnut Munia (Lonchura atricapilla jagori) on a lanzones tree, Malinao, Aklan, Philippines
This is the Chestnut Munia which is commonly seen in ricefields, grasslands and open country. They are sometimes considered as pests as they are voracious rice eaters and they travel together in a flock.
The flock to which this particular bird belongs lives on the cypress trees in the town plaza in front of my house. And nobody seemed to notice it until I pointed it out to them. Now the mayor of the town is so excited that 'wildlife' abounds right there in the center of town.

Hello Ken,
A beautiful view my friend, the subject is very sharp with great colours & focus. The blur in the background works well also.
I admire your talent & patience, regards from England, David.
