Photographer’s Note
Maybe she was not interested, but I was. The exhibition was about Cengiz Kan and his heirs, and this photo of mine served as a background for a sort of tombstone from Mongolia.
It was a very beautiful exhibition, although I was a bit too excited too read it all. And I was glad a couple of my sisters were there to share the excitement with me.
After that, İzzet Keribar took us for a stroll through that very interesting place, the bazar.
Thanks İzzet, this is day to remember for the rest of my life.

Hello Rinie, this is an interesting shot;the horse is really 3-D,it stands out so!As you say the woman is just not interested at all.Good capture.
The exhibition sounds great, I wish that I could have seen it.

Hi dear... Are you back in Rotterdam? What a nice moment it should be. It´s funny you have posted such a serious gesture to portrait a great moment for you that, thankfully, has brought you back to TE. Lots of love.

Merhaba, Daag and Sayn bayna uu,
congratulations for your perfect day in Istanbul. It must be great to see one's own picture in such dimensions at an exhibition.
This picture is great too. TFS.

Hi Rinie,
I remember your message in the forum when you announced that one of your pictures had been selected for this exhibition. It must be awesome to see your photo printed in such a huge size. And I see you also met with Izzet. He's a wonderful person isn't he? He invited me to a private exhibition of his pictures last year in Geneva.
This is a lovely shot from your trip to Istanbul and I like the way this woman's clothes match the colors of the billboard behind. And both she and the horse seem to be going in the same direction.
I hope you'll be posting more photos from your trip soon.
Have a nice Sunday.

Welcome back, Rinie! How was it? I am so excited to see your shot blown up so big! Congratulations!!! Glad your sisters could go with you too. Wonderful shot, this too, the way you captured the woman and the horse on the poster facing th same direction... steadfastly!
A warm hello from cold Ottawa,

Hi Rinie,
Congratulations for the shot, I'm glad to see the shot of you in an exhibition like this. This one is too very beautiful, about ancient time and about the long life of this woman. It's really a great idea to join in a single frame the two "figures". Thanks a lot. I'm very glad for you and your trip! Best wishes,
Angel.

Hey how exciting to see you fully installed! The image works great in this context - and you lucky thing meeting Izzet.
I like the way the woman mirrors the posture of the horse in your image Rinnie - but I just feel to pleased as punch to see your other image up in the exhibition to think so much about this one.
Fantastic!!
You coming to Spain?

Hi Rinie,
Who knows what's on her mind and what weight she is carrying on her shoulders? But this is certainly a very good photograph that displays a counterpoint to a contemporary exhibit from a thousand years ago. Well captured.
Best wishes,

Hi Rinie
This is a good composition of an inheritor who is passing by the Cengiz Kaan's billboard with no care for predecessors ..

Hi Rinie, what a great juxtaposition of elements here - the conceptual tension is very strong. History and the present. The angle gives it a great dynamic too. And how nice that you added the WS - the capture of a strong and meaningful moment. Great that you enjoyed it and the meeting with Izzet so much!
Inderdaad weer thuis - ik probeer je morgen te bellen om bij een borrel - caipirinha- bij te kletsen!

Nice idea to bring together the transient life of a human being with the longer life of an artifact.
Congrats for having had a shot selected for the show!
